GET cecina tacos the Charley way omg completed my life , I always order pickup and the food is made fast and fresh and amazing the price it's worth the quality , i went in for Halloween and I got fast service and amazing food this is my favorite restaurant trust me if u want good quality food come here !!!

Food was fabulous, service friendly, order was ready, correct and hot. This will be our go to for Mexican food.

First time visiting, I love the food. The place was kind of quiet at the beginning, but it got full pretty quickly. The staff was really friendly and amazing and it seems like they have a really good team working in the kitchen they all seem pretty happy. Our food was done fairly quickly amazing flavors super fresh and very tasty! We had Horchata for our drinks and that was really nice. Highly recommended. It's not a fancy place, but it is very clean and cozy.

We have gone here 4 times and never had a bad meal! I highly recommend the tostadas! Good food and good atmosphere!!!

Apr 2024: just had tacos al pastor Charley way and they were delicious. Again, not disappointed. Note, they have a new policy where using card you pay a fee. Fine for me! I would rather see a fee vs increasing prices. Plus... finally a reason to use cash and save.

This is my first time at this taqueria, and I was very satisfied with my meal! The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall in Grayslake, and there is plenty of convenient parking. The festive ambiance and welcoming staff stood out to me! The menu is extensive, and I think they have specials which are listened on their Facebook page. I had the pozole rojo, which was so delicious! The broth was so flavorful, and there was a lot of tender meat! I also thought the tableware (bowls, plates, etc) was beautiful and added to the experience. My husband bought a ton of tacos, and they looked delicious as well. I thought the prices were fair, and the portions were sizeable. As we head into fall/winter, I can't wait to try the other soups!

It has been a long time since I've gotten food from a restaurant that I felt is worth 5 stars. Usually the food will be good once and every other time it sucks, leaving me to update my review. I've now started to eat at places a few times before writing reviews to make sure I'm leaving accurate reviews. I've had food here 4 times and have yet to have a disappointing meal. I have gotten half the torta menu, tacos, soup, burittos, and guacamole appetizer; everything has been legit amazing. I have reheated tortas the following day and try are just as good; there isn't a single item I haven't loved. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, they even gave us a taco each to try their barbacoa, which was amazing and flavorful. I am already planning to get the Cubana torta for dinner tonight! The establishment is clean and inviting, I cant wait to find the time to dine in! I hope this restaurant does amazing because it's a great addition to Grayslake. The food is so good that I hardly have the patience to take pictures before digging in! Don't pass on this one, it's great eats!
